For the purpose of this privacy policy:
“we” refers to Bloodrun EVS as a registered charity.
“us” refers to Bloodrun EVS as a registered charity.
“our” refers to an asset owned or operated by Bloodrun EVS.
“you” refers to yourself as an active member of Bloodrun EVS
At Bloodrun EVS, we are committed to maintain the trust and confidence of our volunteers and clients. In particular we want you to know that your data is only shared with members within the charity. However, your details may be shared with third parties where required to keep our service operational. What data we share and how it’s used is detailed in this privacy policy.
1. Personal Information
We collect personal information from our application process. This is to hold a database of contact information which is vital to running our service. This data is stored on Bloodrun EVS owned databases within the UK. Personal information includes, but is not limited to: Name, Address, E-mail, Phone number, Date of Birth, Driving Licence number, National Insurance number.
Bloodrun EVS will also conduct annual licence checks on your behalf using your Postcode, driving license and national insurance number.
2. DBS Check Data
Each member/applicant of the charity is required to go through a DBS check and this requires extra personal information.
These checks are conducted by a third party, CareCheck. They will process the information provided to them by us.
Extra information includes: Address history, Previous names, Nationality history and several documents for proof of address.
The result of a check is only viewable by the check manager and one committee member nominated to review any check data.
After a check has been completed the documents provided for proof are removed from all Bloodrun EVS devices.
3. Internal Tracking Data
As an active volunteer of Bloodrun EVS providing our primary service. Your movements, location and jobs will be recorded and stored for reporting and auditing purposes. This data is shared with our clients after the removal of personally identifiable information.
4. In-organisation Contact
Your name, e-mail address, phone number and address will be viewable by any active volunteer of Bloodrun EVS for contact purposes.
As an active volunteer you agree to never share personal information of another member outside of Bloodrun EVS without their consent. Bloodrun EVS cannot take any responsibility for individuals sharing personal information.
5. Third Parties & Vehicle Tracking
We will share your driving information and history with our insurers to allow you to be covered by our insurance policies. Information shared includes: Name, Driving Licence Number, Date of Birth and information on any active driving offences.
Your name may be used in our marketing activities including social media.
Our vehicles are tracked by a third party “RAM Tracking”. Although they have access to our vehicle location, no personal information is shared with RAM Tracking.
You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information we hold. E-mail your request to our Data Protection Officer Martin Dixon at martin@bloodrun.co.uk
This policy will be reviewed on an annual basis, or when changes are required. When changes are made you will be asked to re-consent to the changes.
